A very interesting museum of an exceptionally interesting man. Though the English audioguide could have been better, it does serve its purpose, of taking you through his inner and outer life. His personal art projects are what really stands out here, with inspired collages and eccentric, macabre dolls and art installations that should delight any enthusiasts of the weird and the obscure. This museum is a must while you visit Yerevan, especially if you have any interest at all in Soviet culture or art house films.
Truly the magical place for art lovers 🙏🏽 This great man was genius. Really worth visiting!
A hidden gem, if you're an artsy person. Small Museum but worth the visit.
My favorite museum in Yerevan. Great collection of Parajanov’s art. Beautiful building with charming backyard. Also it is a good idea to visit the museum with children - my 2 y.o daughter was very interested
breathtaking museum, i had no idea Sergei Paradjanov explored this much in his creative life
Parajanov must have been an amazing man. Given that he was supposed to be a film maker, the diversity and range of collages that he produced was outstanding.
You can see as much as you know. Therefore, if you are not a big fan of this film director, do not waste your money and time to visit this museum.
To me, it was just a house filled with the odds and ends. Beautiful house, though....
Museum is nice, but staff gives you dirty used in ear headphone with the audio guide and pretend/insist that they are new :)
